When should I book?

As early as you can! For maternity sessions I recommend booking around 28–32 weeks so we have flexibility to schedule around your due date. For newborns, I suggest getting in touch while you're still pregnant — I hold tentative spots for expecting mamas and confirm once baby arrives. Family and motherhood sessions can generally be booked with a little more notice.

How does pricing work?

There are two parts to your investment. The session (booking) fee covers your time with me, the full editing of your gallery, and all pre and post-session communication. It does not include digital files or prints — these are chosen from your gallery afterwards through a separate collection. Most clients invest between $600–$900 in total. Collections start from $199 and Afterpay is available across both payments.

How long until I see my photos?

YOU SHOULD EXPECT TO SEE YOUR GALLERY BETWEEN 2-4 WEEKS POST YOUR SESSION, IF YOU ORDER PRINTS THEY WILL COME AFTER YOUR DIGITAL FILES.

What should we wear?

Generally I recommend soft, neutral tones that complement each other rather than perfectly matching. Avoid bold logos or busy patterns — and most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable and like yourself in. i do have a small client wardrobe for mamas & kids if needed.

Where are you located?

My studio is based in Dairy Flat, North Auckland. I also offer outdoor and in-home sessions across Auckland, North Shore, and Rodney. Travel fees may apply for locations outside my local area — get in touch and I'll let you know.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Afterpay & zip is available, making it easy to spread the cost of both your session fee and your collection.

What if my baby won't settle / my kids won't cooperate?

This is the one I get asked most...and my answer is always the same: please don't stress about it. I have all the time in the world and zero expectations. Newborn sessions are entirely baby-led and we go at whatever pace your little one needs. With older kids I find that once they forget I'm there, the magic happens. The unscripted moments are always the best ones anyway.

Can I bring my partner / other children to a newborn session?

Absolutely — whole family is always welcome at newborn sessions.
